Martha Amram is the CEO of GLYNT.AI, which enables businesses, homes and communities to gain value from their emissions data. 

Using advanced machine learning, GLYNT automates the end-to-end data flow for Scope 2 Emissions, delivering data ready for reporting, audits, financing and action. GLYNT’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of climate solutions by making carbon emissions data easy, speedy, verifiable and shareable. With data in hand, every GLYNT customer can profit from the fast-growing carbon markets and from emissions reductions. 

Martha is the author of five books on corporate strategy, finance and valuation (published by HBS Press and McGraw-Hill; translated into five languages) and numerous articles. With deep expertise in corporate strategy, finance and energy — and their intersection — Martha is a frequent speaker and panelist. She also holds four patents. 

Prior to starting GLYNT, Martha founded Glaze Creek Partners, a strategy consulting firm based on her book with Nalin Kulatilaka, “Real Options.” The company was sold to Navigant Consulting (NYSE: NCI) and Martha became a Managing Director at Navigant Consulting, where she worked with F1000 companies on product innovation strategies. She has also held positions as Chief Economist at PLX Systems, where she led the development of algorithms to value patents, and as Vice President at Analysis Group, where she led teams that prepared expert testimony on financial derivatives and corporate valuation. 

Martha holds a Ph.D in Applied Economics from MIT Sloan. She is a member of the MIT Sloan Visiting Committee, the MIT Sloan Executive Board, and the boards of Growth Sector (workforce development for STEM careers) and Every Voice Engaged (a technology platform for community consensus and participatory budgeting.) Martha resides in Mountain View, CA.
